Quality Control & Testing System Our quality control system is implemented at varying levels of production processes, right from the inspection of raw material to the final dispatch. The raw material is fully inspected on different parameters, dimensionally and metallurgically. The accompanying processes undergo a series of testing procedures as mentioned below:

• During he crack detection process. before the gear cutting, turn blanks are checked in detail to ensure conformity to the specific requirement.
• During the heat treatment cycle, each batch is numbered and punched.
• There after, hardened gear components are checked for hardness and micro structure.
• The metallurgical report is maintained as per the heat code and test pieces are preserved for counter checks. The cracks are checked with the aid of non-destructive type crack detection equipment.
• The functional quality i.e. noise, contact pattern and back lash variation of gear sets are determined by running the distinct gears on the hypoid gear tester.
• Gear concentricity and tooth spacing is measured on special devices, designed for this purpose.

Finally, all the components are inspected to conform to the specific dimensions.
